I have been a criminal defense lawyer in Arizona since 1983. I have been certified by the State Bar of Arizona as a Specialist in Criminal Law since 1990. I am a Charter Member of Arizona Attorneys for Criminal Justice and have been a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers since 1984.

I practice criminal law exclusively. My focus is on drug cases, drug-related forfeitures, money-laundering and other complex criminal matters.

I work in both federal and state court. My federal practice has taken me to District Courts in Arizona, California, Georgia, Michigan, Missouri, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas. I have briefed and argued dozens of cases before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco. My state court practice is literally statewide. I have defended clients in 10 of Arizona's 15 counties.
